Visionaries. Although delivering innovative products that provide solutions to the end user, they do not have the ability to capture market share or consistent profitability. Additionally, visionaries are at risk of being acquired which makes companies skeptical of changes after integration.
Niche Players. These vendors have a narrow vision that helps those companies within their niche. While some of these vendors are adapting their solutions for broader scale consideration, they have difficulty in executing their vision.
Challengers. They compete well in the market to give the leaders a run for their money. Financial visibility isn’t a concern, and they have strong products to serve the market. They just lack the influence the leaders possess.
