SAP BO Data Services Tutorial: sql to database

This tutorial shows you how to load data from a database table into another table in SAP BO Data Services.

Steps:

• Open Data services
• Create a new job
• Create a new workflow – drag & drop from the menu on the right
• Create a new dataflow – drag & drop from the menu on the right
• Add the data source SQL table , using drag & drop from the datastore area.
• Add a query item using drag & drop from the menu on the right.
• Add a template table as a target in the Oracle DB Datastore, using drag & drop from the datastore area
• connect Source table to the Query object, connect the query object to the template table object.
• Open the query object, drag & drop the columns required to the output area.
• Validate & Run the Job .
• View the output table to confirm.
